The Blue Train is available for lunch or dinner functions in Pretoria and also Tuesday nights in Cape Town. Groups of up to 84 people can be hosted (see more details below).
TRAIN CHARTERS
Why not charter the whole train for business or pleasure? The charter routes are not limited to the Pretoria / Cape Town route but can be tailor made to your requirements on any rail track that is compatible with The Blue Train's technology. Golf, safaris, team-building and excursions can all be built into a train charter (see more details below).
CONFERENCES
The conference car is a truly unique venue - the ideal setting for meetings, seminars, think-tanks or get-togethers with a difference. With sufficient notice, we can transform the observation car into a suitable venue for smaller and less formal sessions (see more details below).

The Blue Train is available for lunch or dinner functions in Pretoria and in Cape Town it can be booked Tuesday nights for dinner functions. Groups of up to 84 people can be hosted. Exclusive dinner parties or VIP lunches on board the Blue Train will linger long in the memories of the guests. Legendary fresh gourmet cuisine that caters for food lovers and those with special dietary needs is produced from a gleaming stainless steel custom-designed kitchen.

Lunch Trip Itinerary (only in Pretoria):
10h30; Guests arrive at The Blue Train’s pre-departure lounge. Guests are served pre-departure snacks and drinks.
11h00; Welcome, speeches, entertainment, etc.
12h00; The train departs the Station for a 5-6 hour trip. Guests gather in the lounges (Club Car & non-smoking lounge) and enjoy aperitifs.
12h00 – 16:00; Lunch is served in the Dining Car (in two sittings if more than 42 participants)
Guests enjoy post-lunch drinks.
18h00 – Train arrives back at Pretoria Station. Guests disembark and are handed Blue Train gifts on their way home.

16h30; Guests arrive at The Blue Train’s pre-departure lounge.
