As night falls the suites become sumptuous and subtly-lit bedrooms with a choice of either two single beds (twin) or a double bed, clothed in fine cotton linen and duvets. Considerable attention is paid to guests' needs. Professional Butlers are available for the duration of the journey to look after your needs. Room service included and available at all hours.

Children aged 12 years and older pay the full adult Blue Train fare. Speak to one of our consultants to work out a family package.

- Only a limited number of Deluxe Suites are made available for SA Residents and there might be no availability of a special on selected departures.
- Surcharges, minimum stays, and block-out dates may apply over the Festive Season, Easter or during specific events.
- The special discounted packages are only available to permanent residents in Africa.
- The special packages are subject to the availability of the specified travel services.
- Our special packages may be withdrawn at any time without any notice.
- Airline tickets are subject to availability and are capped at R1'500 per person. If the airfare is more than R1'500 per person, the client will be asked to settle the additional flight cost. Early booking is essential. Airfares remain subject to change until payment has been received by the airline.
- Blue Train departure cancellation or schedule changes: If for any reason the Blue Train changes or cancels a departure, we will assist you, as far as possible, in re-booking your train journey to an alternative date. If such a change or cancellation affects your hotel or airline booking, we cannot accept any liability for any additional costs or losses incurred as a result of a Blue Train journey cancellation or delay. In such cases, the booking terms and conditions of the relevant airline, hotel, or service provider will apply. It is therefore advised that you take out adequate travel insurance to cover you in such instances.
- Travel services will only be confirmed once payment has been received.
- The Blue Train journey is based on a Deluxe Suite and is inclusive of all meals, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), high tea, scheduled excursions, and a personal butler. (Excluding French Champagne and Caviar).
- Hotel accommodation is on a bed & breakfast basis in the rooms specified.
- Transfers may be operated privately or by scheduled shuttles. Transfers to/from stations and/or airports are limited to the Cape Town, Pretoria, or Johannesburg metro areas. Cost of transfers falling outside of these areas are available on request..
