You will take in the great highlights South Africa has to offer, such as the world-famous Kruger National Park, the rich cultural heritage and evocative beauty of Swaziland and Zululand, the vibrant coastal cities of Durban and Port Elizabeth, the splendour of the Garden Route and the Cape Winelands, a leisurely stay in Africa’s most beautiful city, Cape Town finishing on the Blue Train from Cape Town to Pretoria.

DAY 1 SUN: JOHANNESBURG Hotel transfer. Remainder of day at leisure (unescorted). DAY 2 MON: JOHANNESBURG - MPUMALANGA Travel to Hazyview via Blyde River Canyon and God’s Window. [B] DAY 3 TUE: MPUMALANGA - KRUGER PARK Early game drive in Kruger National Park (in closed vehicle). Late afternoon open vehicle game drives available (optional and for own account). [B] DAY 4 WED: MPUMALANGA - KRUGER PARK Early morning open vehicle game drive in Kruger National Park. Late afternoon open vehicle game drives available (optional and for own account). [B] DAY 5 THU: MPUMALANGA - SWAZILAND Travel to Swaziland, visit glass factory. Complimentary (optional) afternoon excursion to Swazi candle factory. [B] DAY 6 FRI: SWAZILAND - ZULULAND Afternoon open vehicle game drive (with English speaking ranger), travel to the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi region. [B] DAY 7 SAT: ZULULAND - DURBAN Travel to Durban via traditional Zulu village for (ethnic) lunch and show displaying local culture. [BL] DAY 8 SUN: DURBAN - PORT ELIZABETH Airport transfers in Durban and Port Elizabeth. Remainder of day at leisure (unescorted). [B] DAY 9 MON: PORT ELIZABETH - KNYSNA Travel to Knysna via visit to Tsitsikamma National Park and Storm’s River Mouth. Afternoon at leisure at hotel. [BD] DAY 10 TUE: KNYSNA Lagoon cruise to Featherbed Nature Reserve, trailer ride to top of Western Head, and walk back through milkwood trees for lunch. [BL] DAY 11 WED: KNYSNA - OUDTSHOORN Travel over Outeniqua Pass to Oudtshoorn. Visit Ostrich Farm (guided) and Cango Caves. [B] DAY 12 THU: OUDTSHOORN - STELLENBOSCH Travel Route 62 via the ‘Klein Karoo’ and Montagu to Stellenbosch, arriving late afternoon. [B] DAY 13 FRI: STELLENBOSCH - CAPE TOWN Wine tasting en route to Cape Town. Remainder of day at leisure (unescorted). Overnight in Cape Town [B] DAY 14 SAT: CAPE TOWN - DAY AT LEISURE Enjoy a full day at your leisure. Overnight in Cape Town [B] DAY 15 SUN: CAPE TOWN - CAPE POINT AND PENINSULA Full day tour of the Cape Point and Peninsula.
